Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for "Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween," the sequel to 2015's hit monster comedy based on the popular horror book series by children's author R.L. Stine.

The film, which features an all-new cast of teenage characters -- primarily played by "IT" actor Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris (from the upcoming Hulu series "Castle Rock"), and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle's Madison Iseman, is having R.L. Stine's Goosebumps monsters come alive, so they can once again wreak havoc on the town of Madison, Delaware.

Written by Rob Lieber, a producer-writer on ABC's hit comedy series "The Goldbergs," the sequel, this time, is being directed by Ari Sandel, who previously helmed the high school comedy "The DUFF" and Netflix's time-travel rom-com "When We First Met."

"Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween" will be hitting theaters in October.
