From Dan Fogelman, the creator of NBC's hit tearjerker "This Is Us" and writer of the relationship dramedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love," comes a multi-generational love story about how random moments of the past can shape a person's present and future.

Check out the newly-released official trailer for Fogelman's upcoming romantic saga "Life Itself," which features a strong ensemble cast that includes the likes of Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Antonio Banderas, Olivia Cooke, Annette Bening, Mandy Patinkin, Jean Smart, Alex Monner, Laia Costa, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta.

Spanning over several decades and continents, the film is a multi-layered portrait of two families from America and Spain, centering around a young New York couple (played here by Isaac and Wilde) who have taken the first steps toward building a family of their own.

Written and directed by Dan Fogelman (it's his second directorial effort, following the Al Pacino-starring dramedy "Danny Collins"), "Life Itself" is being released by Amazon Studios, slated to hit theaters on September 21st. Watch the trailer, above.
