Check out the official trailer for "Ghoul," Netflix's forthcoming Indian horror series, which is hailing from Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions, the company behind the horror blockbusters "Insidious" and "Get Out."

Inspired by an Arabic folklore, the three-part miniseries tells the story of a young military interrogator who is sent to work at a high-security terrorist detention center, only to discover that some of the prisoners are not of this world.

Playing the young interrogator is Indian actress Radhika Apte, who can also be seen in the acclaimed Indian crime series "Sacred Games," which was just released on Netflix a week ago.

Co-produced by India's Phantom Films, who previously produced the darkly comic Indian crime flick "Udta Punjab," "Ghoul" is written and directed by Mumbai-based filmmaker Patrick Graham.

Set to premiere globally on August 24th, "Ghoul" is one of three new Indian original series from Netflix as the streaming company is actively expanding its reach into India.
