Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan — TV Spot: 'Presidents'

While celebrating Fourth of July, Amazon has released a new 30-second President-themed commercial for the highly anticipated spy-action series "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan," which stars A Quiet Place's John Krasinski as the titular CIA office analyst-turned-field agent.

The eight-episode thriller, which depicts the late, author Tom Clancy's iconic CIA hero, Jack Ryan, as a young anti-terrorist researcher recruited for his first ever field mission, is created and written by television mega-producer Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel, Colony) and television writer Graham Roland (Fringe, Prison Break).

The Amazon series, in which the pilot episode is directed by Oscar-nominated helmer Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game, Passengers), also stars Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Suits) as Ryan's CIA handler James Greer and Abbie Cornish (Three Billboards...) as Ryan's girlfriend (and future wife) Cathy Muller.

The cast also includes Timothy Hutton, Mena Massoud, Ali Suliman, Al Sapienza, and Dina Shihabi.

"Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan: Season 1" premieres Friday, August 31st on Amazon Prime Video.
