When it comes down to saving millions of lives, failure is not an option. Check out a new official trailer for Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg's latest collaboration "Mile 22," a gritty new action-thriller where Wahlberg is on his own "mission impossible" to safely escort a foreign asset across enemy lines.

In the film, Mark Wahlberg plays CIA intelligence officer James Silva who's latest task is to safely escort a foreign asset into the U.S. with vital information that can save the country from a planned attack. Accompanying Silva on this mission is a top-secret tactical command team that includes The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan and UFC star-turned-WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey.

Indonesian martial arts star Iko Uwais, of "The Raid" and "The Raid 2," plays a local special forces officer who wants to stop his corrupt government from starting a war with America.

Written by newcomer Lea Carpenter, from a story co-penned by Carpenter and Graham Roland (co-creator of the upcoming Amazon series "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan"), "Mile 22" is Wahlberg and Berg's fourth film together in five years, following "Patriots Day," "Deepwater Horizon," and "Lone Survivor."

"Mile 22" is set to hit theaters everywhere on August 17th.
