"The Purge" star Frank Grillo and "Die Hard" star Bruce Willis team up to take down a notorious bank robber in the trailer for the action crime thriller "Reprisal."

From Brian A. Miller, the director of the B-movie action thrillers "Vice," "The Prince," and "Officer Down," the forthcoming film casts Grillo as a bank manager recovering from a traumatic and violent robbery that was orchestrated by an elusive thief (played by Johnathon Schaech, from CW's "Legends of Tomorrow").

Still haunted by the incident and still pissed off that the Feds haven't caught the guy yet, Grillo's character goes ahead and partners up with his ex-cop neighbor (Willis) to take the law into their own hands. But as soon as they try to hunt down the dangerous thief themselves, they discover that he's smarter and sneakier than they had originally thought.

Co-starring Olivia Culpo and written by Bryce Hammons, "Reprisal" will be hitting theaters and VOD on August 31st.

synopsis:
Jacob (Frank Grillo), a bank manager haunted by a violent heist that took the life of a coworker, teams up with his ex-cop neighbor, James (Bruce Willis), to bring down the assailant. While the two men work together to figure out the thief's next move, Gabriel (Johnathon Schaech), the highly-trained criminal, is one step ahead. When Gabriel kidnaps Jacob's wife (Olivia Culpo) and daughter, Jacob barrels down a path of bloodshed that initiates an explosive counterattack and brings all three men to the breaking point.
