When hostile aliens suddenly invade Earth, the people in a small Australian town must band together to make one last stand.

Here's the U.S. trailer for "Occupation," an alien-invasion thriller set in a small rural town in Australia, centering on a group of Aussie residents as they fight to save their home from an invading army of extraterrestrial foot-soldiers.

The film, which is written, directed and produced by Aussie filmmaker Luke Sparke (Red Billabong), stars Temuera Morrison (from the upcoming "Aquaman" movie), Stephany Jacobsen (Battlestar Galactica: Razor, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Dan Ewing (Home and Away), Rhiannon Fish (The 100), Jacqueline McKenzie (The 4400) and Bruce Spence (Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, The Road Warrior).

"Occupation" will be making its way to the States next month, hitting U.S. theaters and VOD on July 20th. Watch the trailer, above.

synopsis:
After their small Australian country town is annihilated by an overwhelming airborne attack, a group of civilians evade capture and discover they are now among the last remaining survivors of an extraterrestrial invasion engulfing the entire planet. As humanity falls under world-wide occupation, they form a home-grown army to fight back against vastly superior enemy forces. On the frontlines of the battle for Earth, they are our last hope.
