Netflix has released the official U.S. trailer for "Kiss Me First." It's a Ready Player One-type thriller series that was written and created by Bryan Elsley, the co-creator of the popular British teen series "Skins."

Set to stream in the U.S. and other locations outside the U.K. on Friday, June 29th, "Kiss Me First" stars Tallulah Haddon (from FX's "Taboo") as a lonely 17-year-old video gamer named Leila, who is addicted to an online virtual reality game called "Azana." After developing a close relationship with a fellow female gamer (played by The Night Manager's Simona Brown), who suddenly goes missing, Leila soon finds herself drawn into a dangerous mystery, which involves the unsolved murders of her virtual reality friends.

Based on the 2013 novel of the same name by author Lottie Moggach, the sci-fi thriller, which already aired in the U.K. back in April, contains a six-episode arc with the first three installments directed by Misha Manson-Smith (TV's No Offence, TV's High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman). Meanwhile, the last three episodes of the series are directed by Tom Green (Monsters: Dark Continent, TV's Misfits).
