Bank robbers, phony priests, strange hippies, peeping Toms, listening devices, classic Motown records, casino coin slots, and a dead body. Well-well-well, it looks like it's going to be one hell of a night at the old El Royale hotel.

Check out the first official trailer for "Bad Times at the El Royale," a new stylish neo-noir thriller from Drew Goddard, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of "The Martian" who also wrote and directed the cult horror movie "The Cabin in the Woods."

Featuring an all-star cast that includes the likes of Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, and Tony-winning Broadway star Cynthia Erivo, the film takes place over the course of one eventful night, during which seven not-so-honest strangers find themselves staying at an old-fashioned '60s-style hotel, which is known for its devilish charm rather than its world-class accommodations.

"Bad Times at the El Royale" is due to hit theaters October 5th.

Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption -- before everything goes to hell!
