Suspiria — Official Teaser Trailer

added: Mon, Jun 4th '18

The first official teaser trailer has been released for "Suspiria," the upcoming remake of Italian director Dario Argento's cult 1977 supernatural horror classic about a young dance student who enrolls in a prestigious European dance academy, only to discover later that the school is a front for something very sinister and nefarious.

Italian director Luca Guadagnino, who is fresh from directing the critically acclaimed Oscar nominated film "Call Me by Your Name," helms this modern-day interpretation, which stars "Fifty Shades" star Dakota Johnson as the young dancer while Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton takes on the role as the mysterious Madame Blanc, the school's artistic director who may know more about some of the recent troubling and disturbing occurrences than she's letting on.

Co-starring Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass, Neighbors 2) and Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness), with a guest appearance from original "Suspiria" star Jessica Harper, the upcoming remake, which was written by David Kajganich (creator of AMC's historical horror series "The Terror"), will be released in theaters on November 2nd.

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe's artistic director (Tilda Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Dakota Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Lutz Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.
