"Scandal" star Scott Foley is teaming up with The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan for ABC's new spy-vs-spy series "Whiskey Cavalier," for which an official trailer has been released.

Created by television producer/writer Dave Hemingson (Kitchen Confidential, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23), the action dramedy sees Foley as a gifted yet lovesick FBI agent who, while suffering through a recent break-up, is given a new undercover assignment in Moscow, where he ends up butting heads with his arch rival, a bad-ass CIA super-spy (played by Cohan). Forced to put aside their differences, they agree to work together and lead an inter-agency team of mismatched spies.

Executive produced by "Scrubs" and "Cougar Town" creator Bill Lawrence, the series also stars Tyler James Williams (The Walking Dead, Everybody Hates Chris), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty, Devious Maids), Vir Das (Go Goa Gone), Josh Hopkins (Cougar Town, Quantico), and Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck).

synopsis:
"Whiskey Cavalier" is a high-octane, hour-long action dramedy that follows the adventures of tough but tender FBI super-agent Will Chase (codename: Whiskey Cavalier), played by Scott Foley. Following an emotional break-up, Chase is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Francesca "Frankie" Trowbridge (codename: Fiery Tribune), played by Lauren Cohan. Together, they lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world (and each other) while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics.
