Check out the first official trailer for Mark Wahlberg's latest collaboration with director Peter Berg, "Mile 22." It's a gritty action film about a top-secret tactical command unit, which is led by a hard-nosed CIA intelligence officer named James Silva (Wahlberg).

When he and his elite squad of "ghost" operatives are tasked with retrieving and transporting an asset out of a foreign country, Silva finds himself going up against "some very evil people," who want to see his entire team dead.

In addition to Wahlberg, the film also stars John Malkovich, The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan, UFC star-turned-WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey, and Indonesian martial arts star Iko Uwais, of "The Raid" and "The Raid 2" fame.

It's Wahlberg and Berg's fourth film together in five years, following "Patriots Day," "Deepwater Horizon," and "Lone Survivor."

Written by newcomer Lea Carpenter, from a story co-penned by Carpenter and Graham Roland (co-creator of the upcoming Amazon series "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan"), "Mile 22" is slated for an August release.
