NBC has released the official trailer for their new fall show "Manifest," which appears to be a "Lost"-like mystery drama about an airline flight that is violently rocked by turbulence, only to lands safely on the ground five years into the future. The show will follow the passengers as they struggle to assimilate back into their old lives after their loved ones believed they were missing and presumed dead.

Executive produced by Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Flight, Cast Away, Back to the Future) and film producer Jack Rapke, the hour-long drama series stars Josh Dallas (Once Upon a Time), Melissa Roxburgh (Valor), Athena Karkanis (Zoo), J.R. Ramirez (Jessica Jones), Parveen Kaur (The Strain), Andrew Sensenig (Powers) and Curtiss Cook (House of Cards).

David Frankel, the director of "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Marley & Me," and who also directed the very first episode for the HBO series "Entourage" and directed two episodes of the Emmy-winning HBO mini-series "Band of Brothers," is directing the pilot episode for "Manifest," which is written by Jeff Rake (creator of NBC's short-lived detective series "The Mysteries of Laura").

"Manifest" will premiere later in the fall on Monday Nights, as part of NBC's new fall show line-up. For more trailers for NBC's new fall shows, click here.

synopsis:
When Montego Air Flight 828 landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers were relieved. But in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years - and their friends, families and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they're all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.

From Oscar-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump) and producer Jack Rapke (Flight, Cast Away) comes an emotionally rich, unexpected journey into a world grounded in hope, heart and destiny.
