Here's the first teaser trailer for the upcoming heartwarming canine comedy "Dog Days," which follows the day-to-day lives of several dog owners in Los Angeles.

The movie features a strong ensemble cast that includes Adam Pally (The Mindy Project), Vanessa Hudgens (Grease Live), Nina Dobrev (xXx: Return of Xander Cage), Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine), Tone Bell (Disjointed), Jon Bass (Baywatch), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911), and Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things).

The film is directed by comic actor Ken Marino, who is perhaps best known for co-starring in the cult films "Wet Hot American Summer" and "Bad Milo," as well as co-starring on the cult comedy series "Party Down" and "Childrens Hospital." Marino previously helmed the Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek comedy "How to Be a Latin Lover" in addition to directing a number of television shows.

Written by Elissa Matsueda (Spare Parts) and Erica Oyama (Burning Love), "Dog Days" will be released sometime this summer.
