Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 2 of "Luke Cage," which is once again starring Mike Colter as the titular hero-for-hire.

Based on the Marvel comic book of the same name, the Netflix series finds Luke Cage back on the streets of Harlem, protecting his community in a more public way. After becoming a local celebrity, the bulletproof hero finds himself being feared by criminals and crooks. Now seen as a type of "ghetto boogeyman," Luke is able to patrol his neighborhood, entirely on his own. But when he suddenly encounters a mysterious new adversary, someone who calls himself "Bushmaster," Luke discovers that he's not invulnerable to pain or public embarrassment. Now it's on: Cage versus Bush! And the winner takes Harlem.

Season Two will also see the return of Rosario Dawson as fan-favorite nurse Claire Temple and Simone Missick as one-armed detective Misty Knight with Alfre Woodard also returning as shady councilwoman "Black Mariah" Dillard and Theo Rossi as her deadly enforcer, Shades.

Starting off with an opening episode directed by Lucy Liu and written by the show's executive producer Cheo Hodari Coker (Notorious, Ray Donovan), Marvel's "Luke Cage: Season 2" premieres June 22nd.

After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.
