Prepare to strike a "Pose"! Check out the official trailer for Ryan Murphy's newest FX series, which takes place in 1987 New York City and explores the underground ballroom culture of drag performers and LGBTQ dancers.

American Horror Story's Evan Peters, House of Cards' Kate Mara, Tony-winning "Kinky Boots" star Billy Porter, and transgender actresses Indya Moore, MJ Rodriguez, Angelica Ross, Hailie Sahar, and Dominique Jackson lead the ensemble cast of the eight-episode cable drama.

Co-created by TV writer Steven Canals (Dead of Summer) and Murphy, who also directs the first two episodes, "Pose" will premiere Sunday, June 3rd on FX. Watch the trailer, above.

synopsis:
Set in the 1980s, POSE is a dance musical that explores the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York: the ball culture world, the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe and the downtown social and literary scene. Making television history, POSE features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles, as well as the largest recurring cast of LGBTQ actors ever for a scripted series.
