John Travolta is back on the streets of New York. And this time, he's strutting his stuff to a different tune -- that of notorious New York mobster John Gotti.

Watch Travolta, in all of his steely-eyed glory, as he channels "The Teflon Don" in the new official trailer for the biographical mob drama "Gotti."

Spanning over several decades, the film chronicles Gotti's criminal career from his early years as a deadly mob enforcer to becoming the head of the Gambino crime family. The movie will also cover the '80s, during which Gotti faced three highly-publicized criminal trials, which practically made him a national celebrity.

Travolta's real-life wife, actress Kelly Preston is also starring in the film as Gotti's long-suffering spouse, Victoria. Meanwhile, actor Spencer Lofranco (Unbroken, Jamesy Boy) plays Gotti's son, John Jr, who against his mother's wishes becomes a loyal foot soldier in his father's mafia crew.

Actor Kevin Connolly, of "Entourage" fame, whose directing credits include several television episodes and a couple of indie films, directs "Gotti," which co-stars Stacy Keach, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Leo Rossi, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lem Dobbs (The Limey, Haywire).

"Gotti" was originally scheduled to be released last year. But after being pulled from Lionsgate's schedule and with producers buying back the film's distribution rights and setting up a new deal with Vertical Entertainment, "Gotti" is now due to hit theaters on June 15th.

(The film will also a special sneak-peak screening later this month at the Cannes Film Festival.)
