It's one of the many questions left unanswered after watching "Avengers: Infinity War" -- where were Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly)? Well, consider the mystery to be unveiled this summer!

Check out the new official trailer for the upcoming Marvel film, which is putting Ant-Man and the Wasp center stage in their own adventure, which will be taking place sometime before (or perhaps around the same time as) "Infinity War."

The film, which is once again directed by Peyton Reed, is also seeing the return of Michael Douglas as the original Ant-Man and genius scientist Dr. Hank Pym, meanwhile Michelle Pfeiffer joins the cast as Janet van Dyne, Hank's long lost wife and the mother of Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne. Janet was not only the original Wasp, but also has been missing for decades, trapped inside a subatomic dimension called the Quantum Realm.

The cast also includes Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, and Ready Player One's Hannah John-Kamen as a mysterious tech-stealing super-villain named "Ghost" while Michael Pena, David Dastmalchian, and T.I. are also returning as Scott Lang's former cellmates-turned-crime-fighting sidekicks, Luis, Kurt, and Dave.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp," which may very well continue Marvel's box-office winning streak, will be released theatrically on July 6th.

synopsis:
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: "Ant-Man and The Wasp." In the aftermath of "Captain America: Civil War," Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
