Solo: A Star Wars Story — Official Featurette: 'Becoming Solo'

Get a closer look at "Solo: A Star Wars Story" as the film's first official featurette has been released, which is offering a better glimpse of actor Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo.

The two-minute preview features director Ron Howard and the main cast (which includes Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, and Emilia Clarke) as they discuss the setting of the "Solo" movie, as well as how they are interpreting the Han Solo character in his early years.

"The 'Star Wars' universe that we see in 'Solo' is different from anything else that we've seen in any previous 'Star Wars' movies," tells Howard. "The Empire controls everything. Everyone is struggling to survive. But we discovered this incredibly free spirit."

Well, it seems Solo is not only just a "free spirit." He's also incredibly "reckless" and a "terrible person" -- and he does a lot of "stupid things" with a whole lot of "bravado."

"You end up getting to see how this guy got to be the way he is," explains Ehrenreich. "It's all part of the great expansion of the Han Solo world."

Well, you can see that world come alive when "Solo: A Star Wars Story" arrives in theaters May 25th.
