Check out a newly released batch of TV spots for "Solo: A Star Wars Story," the latest stand-alone installment set in the "Star Wars" cinematic universe, which is taking place several years before the events of George Lucas' original "Star Wars" movie.
Chronicling the early years of Han Solo as he goes from an aspiring space pilot to a budding space smuggler, the film casts Alden Ehrenreich as the young Solo; Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian; Finnish basketball player-turned-actor Joonas Suotamo as a young 190-year-old Chewbacca, and Woody Harrelson as a seasoned outlaw named Tobias Beckett, who is putting together a crew of would-be space bandits for a high-stakes caper orchestrated by a ruthless crime lord (played by a scarred-up Paul Bettany).
Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Westworld's Thandie Newton are also part of the cast, which includes English actress/writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) as the voice of the sarcastic droid L3-37, and actor/filmmaker Jon Favreau (Iron Man) also as the voice of a space creature pilot named Rio Durant.
Directed by Ron Howard, "Solo" opens May 25th.
