Veteran Scottish actor Brian Cox (Manhunter, X-Men 2, Troy) is getting the chance to chew up some scenery, playing a narcissistic American media mogul refusing to pass his multi-billion-dollar business on to his adult children in the new official trailer for the new HBO series "Succession."

Hailing from Oscar-winning writer-director Adam McKay (Big Short, Anchorman) and Oscar-nominated British writer Jesse Armstrong (In the Loop, Four Lions), "Succession" is a cutthroat family drama revolving around an extremely wealthy and powerful dynasty led by Logan Roy (Cox), a ruthless business tycoon who controls one of the biggest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world.

However, when people start to see Logan's age as becoming a liability to his company, his conspiring children, on the other hand, see it as their best opportunity to finally take control of the family business in a sabotage campaign. But to the surprise of no one, Logan is refusing to go softly into that good night as he has one last, good fight in him.

Jeremy Strong (Big Short), Kieran Culkin (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Sarah Snook (Steve Jobs), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) co-star as Cox's conniving children.

With the pilot episode directed by McKay, "Succession" is premiering Sunday, June 3rd on HBO.
