Former "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall puts on an English accent to play a frantic father trying to find his missing teenage daughter in the trailer for Netflix's new British mystery thriller series "Safe."

Created by crime novelist Harlan Coben and written by Danny Brocklehurst (The Five), the eight-episode drama follows a widowed doctor (Hall, who filmed the series right after working in London on the David Bowie-created musical "Lazarus") as he desperately tries to track down his missing 16-year-old daughter, only to uncover dark secrets about his seemingly ordinary suburban community.

With various episodes directed by Daniel Nettheim (Ash vs Evil Dead, Broadchurch, Doctor Who), Julia Ford (Happy Valley), and Daniel O'Hara (Being Human, Doctor Who), the Netflix series also stars Marc Warren, Hannah Arterton, and Amanda Abbington.

"Safe" is due to premiere May 10th.
