"Children of Men" star Clive Owen is trying to catch an invisible killer in the new U.S. trailer for "Anon," the upcoming futuristic detective thriller from sci-fi writer-director Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, In Time), which will be released in the states next month on Netflix.

Set in an augmented-reality future world where privacy and anonymity are things of the past, Owen plays a homicide detective who is trying to hunt down a serial killer on the loose. The problem is, the killer has found a way to hack into people's augmented vision, deleting all visual records of the killer's real identity. To make matters worse, the killer can also manipulate what people can see, altering their vision with moving images that are not there.

Amanda Seyfried also stars in the Netflix movie as an underground hacker, who first provides the detective with information, but eventually becomes the prime suspect when her customers end up getting murdered. Though she claims she's being set-up -- which is a likely story.

Co-starring Colm Feore, "Anon" will premiere in the U.S. on Netflix beginning May 4th.
