Tony and Grammy Award-winning "Hamilton" star Daveed Diggs teams up with his friend, spoken-word performance artist Rafael Casal as they co-wrote, co-produce, and co-star in "Blindspotting," a provocative new dramedy exploring the racial divisions in contemporary Oakland as told through the eyes of two best-friends -- a white, impulsive hip-hop hooligan (Casal) and a black, cautious delivery driver on probation (Diggs).
Marking the feature directorial debut of music video and commercial director Carlos Lopez Estrada, the film, which premiered to mostly positive reviews at Sundance this year, also revolves around a local police-involved shooting incident that results in the death of an unarmed black man.
Co-starring fellow "Hamilton" star Jasmine Cephas Jones, True Blood's Janina Gavankar, and The Mindy Project's Utkarsh Ambudkar, with Sneaky Pete's Ethan Embry playing a racist cop, "Blindspotting" is coming to select cities on July 20th. Watch the newly-released trailer, above.

Collin (Daveed Diggs) must make it through his final three days of probation for a chance at a new beginning. He and his troublemaking childhood best friend, Miles (Rafael Casal), work as movers, and when Collin witnesses a police shooting, the two men’s friendship is tested as they grapple with identity and their changed realities in the rapidly-gentrifying neighborhood they grew up in.
