Two unlikely high-school students band together to change their school system in the trailer for the quirky teen comedy "Class Rank," which is directed by former '80s teen star Eric Stoltz (Some Kind of Wonderful, Mask, The Wild Life, Fast Times at Ridgemont High).

Starring Skyler Gisondo (from the Netflix zombie comedy series "Santa Clarita Diet") and Olivia Holt (star of Marvel/Freeform's upcoming teen superhero series "Cloak and Dagger"), the movie follows an overachieving high school senior (Holt) whose goal of attending a prestigious university is crushed when she is issued a disappointing "class rank." To rectify the problem, she comes up with a plan to change the entire educational system by electing a fellow student (Gisondo) to the local school board, so he can vote to remove the class rank measure.

Co-starring Tony Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked, TV's Glee) and two-time Oscar nominee Bruce Dern (Nebraska, Coming Home) and written by Benjamin August (Remember), "Class Rank" is due to be released in select theaters and on VOD/Digital May 11th.

synopsis:
Class Rank is a quirky teen comedy about placement, politics and finding your voice.

The only thing holding Veronica (Olivia Holt) back from her dream of attending Yale is her #2 high-school class ranking. So when she devises a plan to elect fellow teen Bernard (Skyler Gisondo) to the local school board and abolish the ranking system, their unorthodox efforts inspire everyone around them to see life and love in a whole new light.
