Martin Freeman is running out of time in the first trailer for "Cargo," a post-apocalyptic father-infant thriller that's set in the aftermath of a zombie outbreak.

Directed by Australian filmmakers Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke, and based on their 2013 short film of the same name, "Cargo," set over the course of a two-day period, follows a zombie-infected man (Freeman) as he trudges through the outback with his infant daughter in tow. While desperately searching for medicine and with only 48 hours until he turns, Freeman's character knows full well that he must figure out a way to save and protect his child before it's too late.

From Kristina Ceyton, the producer of the Australian horror hit "The Babadook" and co-starring veteran Aboriginal actor David Gulpilil (Charlie's Country, Crocodile Dundee), "Cargo" will be released in Australia on May 17th. The film is also expected to screen in April at the Tribeca Film Festival.
