Ed Harris plays a "miserable a-hole" who takes a cross-country road trip with his bitterly estranged son (Jason Sudeikis) in the trailer for the upcoming Netflix drama "Kodachrome."
Also starring Elizabeth Olsen, the film revolves around the acrimonious relationship between a cantankerous still photographer (Harris) and his music executive son (Sudeikis). After discovering four lost rolls of film, father and son grudgingly agree to embark on a car trip to Parsons, Kansas, "the last place left in the world that processes kodachrome." The unlikely pilgrimage becomes surprisingly poignant when it's revealed that the aging cameraman is dying from liver cancer.
Directed by indie filmmaker Mark Raso (Copenhagen) and written by Jonathan Tropper (co-creator of the Cinemax series "Banshee"), "Kodachrome" co-stars Bruce Greenwood, Wendy Crewson, and Dennis Haysbert.
The film is due to premiere on Netflix April 20th.
