Slated to premiere next week on the National Geographic network, "One Strange Rock" is a ten-part documentary series hosted by Will Smith, and is executive produced by acclaimed filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (mother!, Noah, Black Swan).

Exploring all the mind-bending wonders of Planet Earth, the docu-series will tell the story of the world and the genesis of life through unique perspectives and memoirs from esteemed scientists and astronauts.
