"Superfly," the classic 1972 blaxploitation film about a Harlem drug dealer looking to make one last big score before quitting the business, has gotten a modern-day makeover.

Check out the first official trailer for the upcoming crime thriller remake, starring Trevor Jackson (of TV's "Grown-ish" and "Burning Sands") as Youngblood Priest, a "Superfly" hustler who, in this rendition, is operating in and around the city of Atlanta.

Also, starring Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton), Michael Kenneth Williams (HBO's The Wire), Lex Scott Davis (CBS' Training Day), Andrea Londo (Netflix's Narcos), and Jennifer Morrison (TV's Once Upon a Time) with appearances by hip hop artists Rick Ross, Big Boi, and Big Bank Black, the film hails from music video and commercial helmer "Director X," known for directing videos for Drake, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, among others.

Written by Alex Tse (Watchmen, Sucker Free City), "Superfly" will be hitting theaters this summer on June 15th.

Superfly -- the film that helped define a genre in its characters, look, sound, and feel -- is reimagined with Director X, director of legendary music videos (Drake, Rihanna), introducing it to a new generation.
