"Arrested Development" alum Alia Shawkat embarks on a 24-hour love affair with a free-spirited woman in the trailer for the lesbian drama "Duck Butter."

Directed by Miguel Arteta (Beatriz at Dinner, Youth in Revolt, The Good Girl) and co-written by Arteta and Shawkat, the film offers an honest and frank portrait of intimacy between two freewheeling women (played by Shawkat and Spanish actress Laia Costa, of "Victoria") who, after meeting in a nightclub, agree to spend the next 24 hours together with the intended plan of having sex on each and every hour of the day.

Featuring appearances from Kumail Nanjiani, Hong Chau, Kate Berlant, and Mae Whitman, the indie movie, which was filmed almost in its entirety on a continuous 24-hour schedule, is produced by brothers Mark and Jay Duplass.

"Duck Butter" is slated to make its world premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival before hitting theaters and VOD on April 27th.
