Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange, 12 Years a Slave) is a man of God risking everything for what he believes in the trailer for "Come Sunday," a religious-themed drama for Netflix.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Joshua Marston (Maria Full of Grace, Complete Unknown), the film tells the remarkable true story of Carlton Pearson (Ejiofor), a wildly popular Pentecostalist minister from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who in the late 1990s was ousted by his church when he began to preach the concept of universal reconciliation -- a controversial belief that God forgives everyone, therefore Eternal Hell does not exist.

Co-starring Danny Glover, Lakeith Stanfield, Condola Rashad, and Vondie Curtis-Hall, with an appearance by Martin Sheen as famed televangelist Oral Roberts, the film is based on an editorial segment featured on the popular public radio program "This American Life."

Written by Marcus Hinchey (All Good Things) and produced by "This American Life" host Ira Glass, "Come Sunday" premiered earlier this year at Sundance, and will be released on Netflix beginning April 13th.
