Capitalizing on the current March Madness frenzy, Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming basketball drama "Amateur."

Starring Michael Rainey Jr. (from the series "Power" and the comedy "Barbershop: The Next Cut"), the film centers on a gifted 14-year-old basketball whiz who is recruited to play for a prestigious basketball school. And though his sights are set on an NBA future, he finds himself having a hard time fitting in with his new teammates and coach (played by The Good Wife's Josh Charles).

Co-starring Brian White (Ray Donovan, The Shield) and Sharon Leal (Supergirl, Boston Public) as the boy's parents, "Amateur" is written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Ryan Koo and is based on his 2013 short film of the same name.

"Amateur" will premiere on Netflix beginning April 6th.
