HBO has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for their upcoming original movie "Paterno," starring Oscar-and-Emmy-winner Al Pacino as Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno.

The HBO film, set in the immediate aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky child-molesting scandal, follows Paterno as he finds himself being heavily scrutinized and his reputation permanently tainted for apparently turning a blind eye when his long-time assistant coach, Sandusky, was accused of molesting young boys.

The movie is also following the investigation of 23-year-old journalist Sara Ganim (played by Riley Keough) who was the first to break the Sandusky story and the first to expose the cover-up, involving Penn State, Paterno, and the Second Mile charity. Remarkably, Sara, who just was one year out of college, ended up writing an article that ultimately earned her the Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting.

Co-starring Greg Grunberg, Annie Parisse, and Kathy Baker, "Paterno" is directed by Oscar-and-Emmy-winning filmmaker Barry Levinson (Rain Man, The Wizard of Lies, You Don't Know Jack).

The film will debut on HBO beginning Saturday, April 7th.
