Andre the Giant may have been the only person on the planet who ever made Arnold Schwarzenegger feel like a "little doll."

The legendary "Terminator" star is among the many big-name celebrities who are sharing their personal stories in the upcoming HBO documentary, which is taking a look at the remarkable legacy of one of the biggest (both figuratively and literally) pro-wrestling stars in history ... Andre the Giant, aka the Eighth Wonder of the World!

He exploded on the scene in the late 1970s and early '80s, but Andre the Giant became a household name after playing Fezzik, the lovable henchman in the classic 1987 fantasy romantic comedy "The Princess Bride." Andre was one of the first wrestling stars to truly cross over to Hollywood, paving the way for guys like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena. But it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine, Andre also had a long history of trauma. His body had physically broken down from years of wear and tear in the ring.

"He had this wonderful sense of humor about himself. But he had sadness too," informs "The Princess Bride" co-star Billy Crystal in a new trailer for the HBO doc. "He knew he wasn't going to live long."

Executive produced by HBO Sports, WWE, and the Bill Simmons Media Group, and directed by "30 for 30" sports documentarian Jason Hehir (The '85 Bears, The Fab Five), "Andre the Giant" is due to premiere Tuesday, April 10th on HBO.

Andre the Giant was literally the biggest celebrity in the world. HBO Sports, WWE, and the Bill Simmons Media Group present "Andre The Giant," a documentary examining the life and career of one of the most beloved legends in WWE history. The ambitious, wide-ranging film explores Andre's upbringing in France, his celebrated WWE career and his forays into the entertainment world.

Andre Rene Roussimoff was born in 1946 in Grenoble, France. In his early teens, he exhibited signs of gigantism though he was not diagnosed with acromegaly until his twenties. He began his training in Paris at 17 and eventually became known in wrestling circuits around the world. In 1973, Andre joined the organization now known as World Wrestling Entertainment, where he became a superstar and rival of WWE legend Hulk Hogan...
