"Eastbound & Down" and "Vice Principals" masterminds Jody Hill and Danny McBride are debuting their new feature comedy, "The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter," this weekend in Austin, Texas at the SXSW Film Festival. And an early sneak peek clip from the film has been made available online.

Due to be released in the summer by Netflix, the comedy stars Josh Brolin as a renowned deer hunter trying to rekindle a relationship with his young estranged son while they embark on a male-bonding weekend trip to the woods.

McBride co-stars as Brolin's trusted cameraman who -- judging by the above clip -- is brought along to serve as the unofficial mediator between Brolin's character and his son (played here by kid actor Montana Jordan, of "Young Sheldon").

Directed by Hill and written by Hill, McBride, and their frequent writing collaborator John Carcieri (Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals), "The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter" is currently slated for a July 6th release on Netflix.
