Drew Barrymore is putting the "die" in diet as she plays an undead suburban mother with an insatiable hunger for human flesh in the official trailer for the upcoming second season of Netflix's darkly satirical zombie-themed series "Santa Clarita Diet," which also stars Timothy Olyphant (Justified) as Barrymore's intensely devoted husband.

Created by Victor Fresco (Better Off Ted, Andy Richter Controls the Universe) and co-starring Liv Hewson (Before I Fall) and Skyler Gisondo (Vacation) as Barrymore and Olyphant's moody teenage daughter and their young, nerdy zombie-obsessed next-door neighbor, the series centers on a suburban California family who find themselves scrambling to keep things together when it turns out that one of them is suddenly a member of the living dead.

Co-starring Natalie Morales, Joel McHale, Gerald McRaney, Andy Richter, Maggie Lawson, and Zachary Knighton with a special appearance by Nathan Fillion as a talking zombie head, "Santa Clarita Diet: Season 2" is set to premiere March 23rd on Netflix.
