The seedy side of Los Angeles gets depicted in all its wild and crazy extremes in the newly released trailer for "Lowlife," a pulpy crime comedy about a botched kidnapping plot involving a kidney-harvesting human trafficker, a crooked ICE agent, a face-tattooed Nazi, and a morally conflicted luchador.

Starring Mark Burnham (Wrong Cops), Nicki Micheaux (TNT's Animal Kingdom), Shaye Ogbonna, Jon Oswald, Ricardo Adam Zarate, and Santana Dempsey, "Lowlife" marks the feature debut of director Ryan Prows, who won a Student Academy Award for his 2012 short film "Narcocorrido."

A hit on the genre film festival circuit and surely destined to be a cult favorite, "Lowlife" will be released in theaters and VOD on April 6th, via IFC Midnight.

synopsis:
A Mexican wrestler with rage issues, a felon with a regrettable face tattoo, and an ex-junkie in search of a kidney collide in this wild, blood splattered adrenaline rush.
