Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the subject of a new documentary, which takes a look at the 84-year-old's life and her journey from legal scholar and advocate to becoming the second female justice ever appointed to the United States Supreme court.

Directed by Emmy-winning ABC News producer Betsy West (Turning Point) and television documentarian Julie Cohen (Dateline NBC, American Veteran), the film is also examining Ruth's influence on pop culture as well as her pioneering role in the women's movement.

After premiering to positive reviews at this year's Sundance Film Festival, "RBG," which was acquired by Magnolia Pictures, will be released in select theaters starting on May 4th. In the meantime, you can check out the doc's newly-released trailer, above.
