Oscar winner Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men) is getting a chance to share the screen with his Oscar-winning wife Penelope Cruz (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Assassination of Gianni Versace) in the upcoming Pablo Escobar Biopic "Loving Pablo."

Check out the new international trailer for the English-language narco drama depicting the rise and fall of notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar (portrayed here by a paunchy Javier Bardem), as well as chronicling the events surrounding Pablo's secret love affair with popular Colombian television anchorwoman, Virginia Vallejo (played by Bardem's real-life spouse, Penelope Cruz).

Co-starring Peter Sarsgaard as an American DEA agent, "Loving Pablo" is based on Vallejo's memoir and is written and directed by acclaimed Spanish filmmaker Fernando Leon de Aranoa, who previously made the darkly-comic Balkan War film "A Perfect Day" with Benicio Del Toro and Tim Robbins.

"Loving Pablo" is scheduled to open theatrically in Spain next week on March 9th. And as of yet, there's no official U.S. release date.
