On the list of famous Hollywood duos, these guys aren't necessarily in the same league with the likes of Martin and Lewis, Abbott and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, or even De Niro and Pesci. But they have certainly made it on that list, quite possibly ranked right under Wayne and Garth and Beavis and Butt-head.

Check out the triumphant return of Wiseau and Sestero in the official trailer for "Best F(r)iends," a new two-part cult epic that reunites eccentric filmmaker/actor Tommy Wiseau and actor-turned-best-selling author Greg Sestero for the first time in nearly 15 years, since making their "best worst movie" masterpiece "The Room." Which, of course, was the subject of James Franco's hit film "The Disaster Artist."

"Best F(r)iends" is, however, directed by filmmaker/cinematographer Justin MacGregor and written by Sestero, and was inspired by "true events" -- allegedly based on a series of "true-to-life anecdotes" that came from Wiseau and Sestero's own shared experiences while living in Los Angeles.

Supposedly will be presented in "two volumes," the surrealistic neo-noir thriller sees Wiseau and Sestero as "best friends" who get drawn into a mysterious web of "greed, hatred and jealousy."

Co-starring Kristen StephensonPino, Rick Edwards, and Paul Scheer, "Best F(r)iends" will be released in theaters across the country through the help of Fathom Events. "Volume One" is scheduled for March 30th and April 2nd while "Volume Two" will be out on June 1st and 4th.

synopsis:
When a drifter (Greg Sestero) is taken in by a peculiar mortician (Tommy Wiseau), the two hatch an underground enterprise off the back of the mortician's old habits. But greed, hatred, and jealousy soon come in turn, and their efforts unravel, causing the drifter to run off with the spoils and leaving the mortician adrift. An expedition across the South West introduces wild and crazy characters through a series of twisted and dark foibles as both men learn a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty.
