HBO has released the official trailer for "Barry," the new comedy series starring former SNL star Bill Hader as a professional hit-man who is unexpectedly bitten by the acting bug.

Co-created by Hader and "Silicon Valley" producer Alec Berg, the eight-episode series centers on a disenchanted hired assassin named Barry whose latest assignment takes him to Los Angeles, where he unintentionally develops a passion for acting after joining a local acting class taught by an eccentric drama coach, played here by "Happy Days" vet Henry Winkler.

Hader is not only starring in the series, but also wrote and directed the pilot episode.

The cast also includes Stephen Root (Get Out), Sarah Goldberg (VH1's Hindsight), and Anthony Carrigan (FOX's Gotham).

"Barry" is set to debut on Sunday, March 25th on HBO.

The comedy revolves around Barry (Bill Hader), an ex-Marine who works as a low-rent hitman in the Midwest. Lonely and dissatisfied in his life, he begrudgingly travels to Los Angeles to kill someone and ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the L.A. theater scene.
