Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse) quickly slips in and out of virtual reality as he leads an underground rebellion in the new trailer for "Ready Player One," the eagerly anticipated sci-fi adventure movie from director Steven Spielberg.

Based on the best-selling novel by Ernest Cline, the film is set in the future where most of the human population has voluntarily plugged themselves into a virtual reality world called the OASIS. It's an escape, a place where anyone can be and do anything. But when greedy corporate executives initiate a plan to seize control and monetize the OASIS, it creates an underground movement in which young videogamers are forced to band together and take part in a virtual reality uprising.

While overflowing with pop culture from the '80s and '90s, the story centers on a young gamer named Wade Watts (Sheridan), who not only finds himself at the center of the cyber rebellion, but also as one of its main leaders.

Co-starring Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lena Waithe with Oscar-winner Mark Rylance as OASIS creator James Halliday, "Ready Player One" opens in theaters on March 30th.

synopsis:
The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse. But the people have found salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance). When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. When an unlikely young hero named Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decides to join the contest, he is hurled into a breakneck, reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical universe of mystery, discovery and danger.
