Karl Urban (Thor: Ragnarok, Star Trek) is a wrongly convicted ex-cop trying to clear his name in the trailer for the pulpy thriller "Bent," which also stars Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, and Ocean's Eleven's Andy Garcia.

Based on characters created by crime novelist JP O'Donnell, the film follows ex-detective Danny Gallagher (Urban) who, after being released from prison for a crime he didn't commit, sets out to salvage his reputation, only to get caught up in a web of corruption and violence.

Co-starring Empire's Grace Byers and veteran character actor Vincent Spano (Alive, Rumble Fish), "Bent" is written and directed by Bobby Moresco, the Oscar-winning producer of "Crash" and the co-creator of the short-lived crime series "The Black Donnellys."

"Bent" is being released in theaters and iTunes on March 9th.

When a drug bust goes wrong, ex-cop Danny Gallagher's (Karl Urban) quest for justice leads him to the car-bomb murder of a government official's wife. As Gallagher learns the woman's secret lover was a seductive federal agent (Sofia Vergara), he finds himself under fire. But from who -- his own cops, a vengeful drug lord, the CIA, or someone even more ruthless?
