Former "Downton Abbey" star Lily James, who recently co-starred in the Winston Churchill drama "Darkest Hour," is once more returning to that melancholic WWII period. But this time, she's playing an inspiring reporter who wants to write about a close-knit group of eccentric English locals who shifted their attention away from the horrors of war by forming a book club.

Based on the best-selling historical novel by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, check out the newly-released trailer for "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society."

Hailing from acclaimed British director Mike Newell, of "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" fame, the film also stars Michiel Huisman (HBO's Game of Thrones), Katherine Parkinson (TV's Humans), Matthew Goode (The Imitation Game), Glen Powell (Hidden Figures), Penelope Wilton (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Jessica Brown Findlay (TV's Harlots), and veteran English actor Tom Courtenay (The Dresser, Doctor Zhivago).

The film is currently scheduled to open in the U.K. on April 20th. As of yet, there's no official U.S. release date.
