Before he goes back to Pandora, "Avatar" star Sam Worthington will first try to get to TITAN.

Check out the trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller set in the near future where Earth's resources have been exhausted and the fate of humankind is at stake.

Worthington stars as a military soldier and family man who agrees to participate in a top-secret and high-risk genetic experiment, which will show if humankind is able to evolve for a new and dangerous phase of space travel, potentially for the evacuation of Earth and the colonization of another planet, the Titan.

The cast of the Lennart Ruff-directed thriller also includes Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black) as Worthington's wife; Tom Wilkinson (Selma) as one of the leading NASA scientists, and Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) as a fellow military volunteer.

Written by Max Hurwitz (Hell on Wheels) and based on a story by Arash Amel (Grace of Monaco), "The Titan" should be out later in the year.
