Here's your first look at Josh Brolin as fan-favorite comic book character "Cable" in the new official trailer for the highly anticipated "Deadpool" sequel, in which Ryan Reynolds is back playing "the Merc with the Mouth," Wade Wilson, a severely disfigured mutant anti-hero known for his healing ability, his violent combat skills, and his propensity to break the fourth-wall and make fun of other superhero movies (in this case, he pokes fun of the "Justice League" mustache debacle).

The upcoming film, which this time around is directed by "Atomic Blonde" helmer David Leitch, will see Wade (Reynolds) squaring off against Cable (Brolin), a time-traveling metallic-armed mutant soldier who comes from a dystopian future.

The movie also features Zazie Beetz (from TV's "Atlanta") as futuristic mercenary mutant Domino, who in the comics is known as Cable's partner and love interest.

Meanwhile, returning cast members include Morena Baccarin as Deadpool's girlfriend Vanessa, T.J. Miller as Deadpool's best friend Weasel, and Leslie Uggams as Deadpool's elderly roommate Blind Al. Brianna Hildebrand will also be back as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Once again written by the screenwriting team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, "Deadpool 2" is hitting theaters May 18th.

synopsis:
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor -- finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World's Best Lover.
