Remember the glorious days of grunge music, videotape camcorders, and dial-up internet? Well, Netflix is going to be taking viewers back in time to the 1990s, when being a freshman sucked, when dating sucked, when parenting sucked ... when everything sucked.

Check out the official trailer for Netflix's latest original series, a quirky coming-of-age comedy that's set in the VHS era of 1996 and revolves around the lives of two groups of freshmen misfits as they band together to form the A/V club and the Drama club for high school.

Created by screenwriter Ben York Jones (Like Crazy, Breathe In) and writer-director Michael Mohan (Save the Date), "Everything Sucks!" features a cast of mostly young up-and-comers led by Jahi Winston (The New Edition Story, Proud Mary) and Peyton Kennedy (American Fable) with Sydney Sweeney, Elijah Stevenson, Quinn Liebling, and Rio Mangini.

Patch Darragh (Sully, Longmire) also stars as the school's principle while stage actress Claudine Nako plays a single mother.

Greenlit for ten half-hour episodes, "Everything Sucks!" is set to premiere Friday, February 16th.
