Skyscraper — Official Trailer

added: Sun, Feb 4th '18

Leave it to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to super-size his Super Bowl Sunday with the release of not one but two sneak-peek previews for his latest big-budget action movie that appears to be a cross between "Die Hard" and "The Towering Inferno."

Once again proving that he's more than willing to risk life and limb if it means saving his family from danger, check out the just-released official trailer - and the previously released Super Bowl spot -- for Johnson's latest action thriller "Skyscraper," about a wounded ex-FBI hostage negotiator-turned-security expert (Johnson) who, after being set up for a crime he didn't commit, must get inside a burning high-rise to rescue his trapped loved ones, while at the same time, clear his name.

The film also stars Neve Campbell (of "House of Cards" and the "Scream" films) as Johnson's wife and features a supporting cast that includes Noah Taylor, Pablo Schreiber, Chin Han, Roland Moller, Byron Mann, and Kevin Rankin.

Former commercial helmer-turned-film director Rawson Marshall Thurber, who is perhaps best known for directing the hit comedies "Dodgeball" and "We're the Millers" and who previously helmed the Dwayne Johnson-Kevin Hart action comedy "Central Intelligence," is directing "Skyscraper" from his own original script.

"Skyscraper" opens in theaters on July 13th

Global icon Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Legendary's SKYSCRAPER as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Ford, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he's been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building ... above the fire line.
