Stargate: Origins — Final Trailer

Stargate Command is a new subscription-based streaming service from MGM, which is built completely around the "Stargate" film and television franchise. And this month they're going to be launching a new original prequel digital series set in 1930s and will depict the events surrounding the initial excavation of the Stargate portal in Giza, Egypt.

Evoking the archaeological adventures of that of an Indiana Jones movie, "Stargate: Origins" stars Australian newcomer Ellie Gall as a young Catherine Langford, daughter of Professor Langford (played here by "Stargate: Atlantis" alum Connor Trinneer), who embarks on her own journey through the Egyptian desert as she unearths clues that link to the history of the Stargate portal.

Directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan (FANtasies) and written by Mark Ilvedson and Justin Michael Terry, and co-starring Philip Alexander, Daniel Rashid, Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, Salome Azizi, Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez, and Derek Chariton, "Stargate: Origins" is due to premiere Thursday, February 15th.
