Check out the trailer for "Aardvark," a heartfelt dramedy that stars Zachary Quinto as a mentally-ill man who believes his estrange TV actor brother (Jon Hamm) can secretly shape-shift into different people, and it also stars comedienne Jenny Slate as Quinto's lonely, ethically-challenged therapist who starts a secret romantic relationship with Hamm's character.

The Quinto-produced film, which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, also co-stars Sheila Vand (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) as Quinto's prospective love interest who, unfortunately, may just be a figment of his imagination.

Marking the feature film debut of writer-director Brian Shoaf, "Aardvark" is getting a limited theatrical release on April 13th.

synopsis:
"Aardvark" follows Josh (ZacharyQuinto), a troubled man who has lived in the shadow of his brother for so long he starts seeing that shadow everywhere. After experiencing a series of hallucinations involving his brother Craig (Jon Hamm) -- an actor, and the star of a popular TV drama -- Josh places himself in the care of Emily (Jenny Slate), a young therapist. Emily is forced to wade deeper and deeper into Josh's imaginary world, and along the way forms her own obsession with his famous brother. While Emily and Craig explore a potentially disastrous attraction, Josh begins a relationship with a young woman, Hannah (Sheila Vand), who might be his soul mate -- if only he could be sure she exists.
